Suds Brother’s Brewery offers ‘School Days’ to help raise funds
Family-friendly restaurant wants to give schools a funding boost

Suds Brothers Brewery, located at 127 E. Aspen Avenue in Fruita, recently sent a letter to schools in Fruita and the Redlands area offering them a fundraising opportunity.
The onsite brewing company also has a family dining menu. While there is an area with a sports bar, another portion of the building is designated for a dining room with a family atmosphere.
“We think that people are missing out on the fact that this is a family environment dining room,” said Rochelle Tufly, one of the owners. “We want to let families know that we are more than just a bar or a brewpub.”
Suds Brothers Brewery has set aside Tuesdays from now until the end of the school year as “Suds Brothers School Days.”
School organizations choose a Tuesday with Suds Brothers Brewery and 10 percent of all revenue above $1,200 is given back to the school for the designated group or activity.
Community support is vital in order for this fundraiser to be beneficial to both Suds Brothers Brewery and the school organizations. Luckily, all it takes to help out your local business and schools is to eat lunch or dinner at the brewery.
“We would like to make it a big check every week,” said Terri Martinez, another owner of the brewery, referring to the check that will be cut to the school organizations.
The first Suds Brothers School Days Tuesday was scheduled for Oct. 2, but Suds Brothers Brewery hopes to have a group scheduled for each Tuesday throughout the year with the exception of Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.
